In a recent victory for democracy everywhere, MTV Europe has announced that one Rick Astley was awarded the final slot on the ballot after a fierce write in campaign for its upcoming award show's newest and most humbly titled award Best Act Ever!!! Please do what ever you can (vote, many, many times - that is pretty much it) to help us get past this final hurtle and into that winners circle. Up against the staunch competition of Britney & Christina, U2, Green Day and some tutonic teenage emoster named Tokio Hotel, Rick needs your support in 2008.
