They ARE coming for you.

The ACLU and other rights groups seem to be helping to keep them, the US Copyright Group, at bay. However, by using a very unfair practice of grouping thousands of defendants into a single a case to defend themselves of allegedly illegally downloading unpaid copyrighted materials, the US Copyright Group is suing people on a mass scale. The fine under law can be as much as $150,000 per movie download, but they'll settle for $1500 to $2500.

Moral of the story... if your going to illegally download a movie, make sure you are using someone else's unprotected wireless network.
